  • Pinnawala / Dambulla

    Be greeted by Chauffeur at Bandaranayake International Airport and drive to Kandy with refreshments.

    • Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage – an orphanage and nursery for the Wild Asian Elephants. It was primarily designed to care and protect baby elephants and today has one of the largest herds in the world.
    • Proceed to Golden Temple at Dambulla – a World Heritage Site. The home to the World’s Most Acclaimed Cave Complex of Magnificent Buddha images and Rock paintings.

  • Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa

    Early breakfast at 7:30am

    • Visit The Sigiriya Rock Fortress – one of the Seven World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka. An archeological site, it contains the ruins of an ancient palace complex. One of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning.

    Visitors can have the optional “Ayurvedic Spa Treatment” here.

    • Drive to the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa – another World Heritage Site. The second most ancient of Sri Lanka’s Kingdoms, Polonnaruwa reached its zenith under King Parakramabahu (1153-86) who erected huge buildings and planned beautiful parks including the large artificial Topawewa Lake or as it’s called “The ParakramaSamudyara”.

  • Anuradhapura

    • After breakfast visit Ancient City of Anuradhapura – the first ancient kingdom established in Sri Lanka, a corner of the ‘cultural triangle’ and considered the birthplace of Buddhism. A truly remarkable city with the best of wildlife, irrigation network and world acclaimed historic monuments. Farming being the main source of income, it is the home to a modest farming community.

  • Mihintale / Avukana / Ritigala

    After breakfast visit

    • Mihintale – an important tourist destination for pilgrim travelers.
    • Proceed to Avukana – to the 13 meters high Buddha statue carved out of solid granite. Its history goes up to the 5th century.
    • Visit Ritigala – a range of mountains near Anuradhapura. There are many monastic ruins of stones, terrace ways, circular terraces, a stone bridge and remains of a giant bank pond across a water stream.

    Guests can enjoy an elephant ride at Habarana.

  • Matale / Kandy

    • After breakfast visit ‘Spice Garden’ via Kandy – Matale Spice Gardens are among the best in the country.
    • Muththumari Amman Hindu Temple – its outer walls are covered with hundreds of Hindu Characters, Gods and Deities.

  • Peradeniya / Kandy

    • After breakfast visit the Temple of Tooth – it houses Lord Buddha’s Sacred Tooth Relic, and home to the Esala Perahera.
    • Enjoy the breathtaking scenes of the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens.
    • Enjoy the Kandyan Cultural Shows in the evening.

  • Nuwara Eliya

    If you intend to shop, Kandy is one of the best places for buying Gems, Handicrafts, Silks, etc.

    • Visit Ramboda Waterfalls and Tea Plantations via NuwaraEliya – situated at around 2000m over sea level and surrounded by lush tea plantations, NuwaraEliya is the main Hill Resort in Sri Lanka and the heart of the tea industry.

  • Horton Plains / Nuwara Eliya

    Wakeup at 5:30am

    • Visit Horton Plains – paradise for nature lovers, hikers and bird watchers.
    • Then guests arrive at the World’s End – a most stunning place where the Southern Horton Plains suddenly ends and drops to a nearly 1050m which is indeed a sight worth watching.

    The evening can be spent walking to “Single Tree Mountain” or City Of Nuwara Eliya.

  • Ella Train Journey

    After breakfast at 7:30 am

    • Enjoy a 3hour train ride to Ella – which takes you along the edge of the mountains, overlooking huge valleys of tea plantations and small villages, forests and waterfalls.

  • Ella Gap / Ravana Falls / Buduruwagala

    After breakfast visit

    • The amazing Ella Gap – a steep valley stretching for miles between Ella Rock and Little Adam’s Peak.
    • Proceed to one of the popular waterfalls “Ravana” 25 meters in height.
    • On way to Tissamaharama (Tissa) visit Buduruwagala – on a massive rock, somewhat similar shape of an elephant lying down, is a courtly group of seven figures carved in high relief to bodhisattvas, each attendant by two figures, stands on either sides of a 16m high central Buddha figure.

  • Yala National Park / Kataragama

    Early wake up at 5:30am

    • Proceed to Yala National park – it is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. Is best known for its variety of wild animals like Leopards, Elephants, Bears, Crocodiles, Peacocks, Jungle Fowls, etc.
    • Evening visit to Ruhunu Kataragama Devala – one of Sri Lanka’s holy places where Hindus, Buddhists and Muslims visit on religious pilgrimages. It is a large religious complex with the “Mahadevala” – the main Hindu Shrine being the most important place.

  • South Coast / Departure

    After breakfast travel to Mirissa or Unawatuna.

    • Lovely beaches to stay, relax and enjoy until you leave from this “Paradise”.
